Backpack#
Every player gets a free 12-slot backpack.
- Open it with
/backpack, or click the backpack button next to your hotbar. - Hide or show that button with
/backpackgui. - It holds anything that fits in a normal inventory slot.
- Row 3 unlocks after 10 hours of play time, and row 4 costs 5,000 Chimera Coins (CC), once.
/bpunlockshows both. That makes 24 slots. - It stays with you when you die, and the monthly wipe does not empty it.
See Economy.
Loot All and the sorting panel#
When you open a box, furnace or other container, a panel of extra buttons appears beside it. Type /ss to open the full help screen.
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Loot All | Takes everything out of the container. It can fill your inventory, your hotbar and your backpack |
| Dump All | Puts your whole inventory into the open container |
| Sort | Sorts the container by category or by name |
| Send Here | Sends matching items from your inventory into this container, based on its filters |
| Send Near | Sends your items to every filtered container within 25 m |
| Filters | Choose which categories or items a container accepts |
| Assign Box | Turns a container into a drop box. Anything you put in a drop box is sorted into your filtered boxes nearby |
| Start / End Chain | Links containers so overflow spills from one into the next |
Handy commands:
/ssdefenseopens the defense panel. It refills nearby turrets and traps from your filtered storage. By default it sends 128 ammo per auto turret and SAM site, 64 per shotgun trap and 100 fuel per flame turret./sstogglehides or shows the panel./ssrefreshfixes the panel if it gets stuck./ssmovelets you move the panels around your screen./sscommandslists every command.
Most of these only work inside your own building privilege.
Tip: Put one drop box at your base entrance and set filters on your storage once. After every trip, dump your loot into the drop box and it sorts itself.
Building tools#
Remover tool#
Type /remove to turn the remover tool on. Then, with nothing in your hands, aim at something you own and press your attack button to pick it up. Holding any item in your hands switches the tool off.
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Time it stays on | 60 seconds (add a number, for example /remove 300, for up to 300 seconds) |
| Reach | 3 m |
| Items per session | 50 |
| Cooldown after a session | 60 seconds |
- Deployables (boxes, furnaces, lights and so on) come back to you as the item.
- Removing building pieces has a small resource price and gives some materials back. The panel on the left of your screen shows the exact price and refund before you remove anything.
- Containers keep their contents: the items drop in a bag when the container is removed.
- You can remove things you own, and things owned by your clan mates or friends. Teammates who are not in your clan cannot remove each other's things.
Auto-upgrade while you build#
Pick a building grade once and every block you place upgrades to it automatically, as long as you carry the resources.
| Command | Result |
|---|---|
/bgrade 1 |
Wood |
/bgrade 2 |
Stone |
/bgrade 3 |
Metal |
/bgrade 4 |
Armoured (high quality metal) |
/bgrade 0 |
Turn it off |
/bgrade t 180 |
Keep it on for up to 180 seconds (default is 30) |
/bgrade help |
Show your current settings |
It switches itself off after the timer runs out. It also pauses for 30 seconds after your building takes damage.
Note: There is no one-click "upgrade my whole base" tool at the moment. Auto-upgrade works on blocks as you place them. To upgrade an existing base, use your hammer as normal.
Workbench anywhere in your base#
Your workbench tier counts anywhere inside your building, not just next to the bench. You count as inside when you are within 16 m of your building. Walk out of range and anything that needs the bench stops crafting.
Teleports#
Every teleport has a short countdown. Getting attacked during it cancels it.
Your team, and homes#
Your teammates are listed on the right of your screen, above the health bars. Click a name with TAB held (or type /tpr <name>) to ask to teleport to them. A small pop-up on the left lets the other player accept or deny.
| Everyone | |
|---|---|
| Ask to teleport | /tpr <name>. The request lasts 30 seconds |
| Accept / deny or cancel | /tpa / /tpc |
| Countdown after accepting | 5 seconds |
| Wait between requests | 2 minutes |
| Homes you can save | 2 |
| Save a home | /sethome <name> |
| Go home | /home <name>. 10-second countdown, 5-minute cooldown |
| List / delete homes | /homes / /delhome <name> |
| Outpost and Bandit Camp | /outpost, /bandit. 15-second countdown, 10-minute cooldown |
- A home must be on a foundation or floor in a base where you are authorized on the tool cupboard, or in a base with no cupboard that you or a teammate built. You can't set one inside a monument.
- A home is removed when its floor is destroyed, and all homes are cleared at the map wipe.
/tpautoaccepts your teammates' requests by themselves./tpuiopens the settings (move the panel, mute the sounds), and/tphudhides or shows the team list.- There is no daily limit.
You can't teleport while downed or falling, in a vehicle or on something moving (a boat, the cargo ship, a train), out of someone else's base, or into a base you are not authorized on. A raid nearby blocks teleports for 5 minutes.
