RaidMe (Base Defense)

Pay Scrap to have waves of rocket-and-C4 raiders attack your own base, then defend your tool cupboard until the last wave falls.

Checked against the live server 6 Oct 2026

RaidMe is a reverse raid. Instead of attacking a base, you defend your own. You pay Scrap, and waves of NPC raiders march on your base with rocket launchers, C4 and satchel charges. Hold them off until the last raider of the last wave is dead.

It is the defensive side of PvE: build well, place turrets and traps, and prove your base can take a hit.

Before you start#

You need all of these:

  • A base with a tool cupboard, and you must be authorized on it.
  • Stand inside the base's building zone when you type the command.
  • 24 hours on that cupboard. After you authorize on a cupboard, you must wait 24 hours before you can start RaidMe from it.
  • Solid ground. The cupboard cannot be underground, or in water deeper than about half a metre. Bases on icebergs, ice sheets or cliffs are refused.
  • The Scrap in your inventory.

Need Scrap? Recycle components, loot crates, trade flowers, eggs and honey at vending machines, or farm the guards in Dungeons, who can drop 500 to 2,000 Scrap. See Economy.

Step 1: check the prices#

Type /raidme buy. Chat lists every tier you can start, with its cost.

Tier Command Cost
Easy /raidme buy easy 500 Scrap
Medium /raidme buy medium 1,000 Scrap
Hard /raidme buy hard 1,500 Scrap
Expert /raidme buy expert 3,000 Scrap
Nightmare /raidme buy nightmare 4,000 Scrap

Step 2: start the raid#

Type the command for your tier while standing in your base. The Scrap is taken at once.

  • Chat says "Your event will start shortly!"
  • Up to 6 RaidMe events can run on the server at once. If the server is full, you join a queue and chat tells you how many are ahead of you.
  • You get a warning before the first wave arrives, and a countdown before each new wave.

What you face#

Tier Raiders per wave Waves Raider health Total time
Easy 10 3 100 10 min 40 s
Medium 15 4 200 15 min
Hard 20 5 400 20 min
Expert 30 5 400 25 min
Nightmare 30 6 400 35 min
  • A new wave arrives every 2 minutes, whether or not you have finished the last one.
  • The raiders are "Cobalt Scientists". They carry rocket launchers, C4 and satchel charges, and they aim for your base.
  • The damage is real. Walls, doors and deployables they destroy stay destroyed.
  • You can repair during the event.

Warning: Your tool cupboard is the heart of the event. If raiders destroy it, the event is cancelled and you lose.

Winning and losing#

  • You win when every wave has spawned and every raider is dead. Chat tells you that you won.
  • You lose if the time runs out first, or if your tool cupboard is destroyed.
  • There is no refund either way. The Scrap is the entry fee.

Rewards#

  • Every raider drops normal scientist loot when it dies.
  • Only players authorized on your cupboard can loot the raider corpses.
  • /raidme stats shows your events played, won and lost, and your raider kills.

There is no Scrap, CC or skill XP payout. The loot and the bragging rights are the reward.

Cooldowns#

  • After you start a RaidMe, you wait 1 hour before you can start another.
  • Everyone else authorized on the same cupboard gets a chat notice that a raid event has started.
  • Every time you authorize on a cupboard, a fresh 24 hour wait starts before RaidMe works from that cupboard. This includes clearing and re-authorizing on your own cupboard.

Note: If you own a Cooldown Reset Token, type /resetcd to clear your event cooldowns, including RaidMe.

Tips#

  • Start with Easy on a stone base. Ten weak raiders per wave is a fair test of your walls and turrets.
  • Protect the cupboard first: deep inside, behind several doors, with turrets covering every approach.
  • Raiders use explosives, so armoured or sheet metal walls buy you time.
  • Keep a stack of repair resources ready. You can patch holes between waves.
  • Do not clear and re-authorize your cupboard before a RaidMe. It restarts the 24 hour wait.
  • Expert has 30 raiders per wave, and Nightmare adds a sixth wave and ten more minutes. Move up only when your base holds Hard without losing the cupboard.
